Stanley, KEF sponsored graduate in Computer Science

Updated: Jul 19, 2018

Stanley lost his father at age 7 and his mother in December 2016. His mother has been his inspiration for his whole life and he credits her with his continuing struggle to complete his education. Because of lack of funds, his education so far has taken him twice as long to complete as it normally would. He has a younger brother and a younger sister who has married and is out of touch with him.

Stanley completed his Bachelors degree in Education specializing in computer science, but because he is behind in his payments to the government plan program (HELB), he cannot qualify to teach in public school, which would pay him four times than what he is making at a private school.

He has also decided to pursue a Master of Science degree in Project Management, further increasing his debt but with the hopes of landing a higher paying non-governmental job upon completion.
