Way to Go, Nelson!

As many of you know, when we sponsor a student to go to college, they sign a pledge to 'pay it forward' to their community in some way.

Meet Nelson, a student who we sponsored in 2014 who graduated 3 years ago with a Bachelor's degree in Kenya. Since securing a job, Nelson has been financially contributing to a woman living in a nearby cowshed so that she can move to a safer location.

He has also passed on his value of mentor-ship to the next generation by mentoring students in the Mathare Slums, and teaching about the importance of Environmental Sustainability.

Way to go, Nelson! 'Like' and share if you value giving back to your community, too!
