Daniel And Felicia Schoenewald Scholarship Fund

Daniel and Felicia Schoenewald recently started a fund within KEF to sponsor students in sub-Saharan Africa. Daniel spent much of his early years in Africa, Asia and the Middle East where he saw first-hand the disparity between the educated and the uneducated. Daniel and Felicia have teamed up over the years to address social, health and education issues in their community and throughout the world, through their charitable contributions and their personal involvement.

A tax deduction certificate will be issued to each donor. The status and progress of the student recipient of the Daniel and Felicia Schoenewald Scholarship Award will be posted and updated on this website.

Moureen's education will help her achieve her dream as a health worker, saving peoples' lives and working for the sake of others' well being. She hopes to set up heath centers in the area where people can more easily receive treatment.

Thanks to DFSF, Moureen will now be able to accomplish these dreams!

We look forward to your progress, Isabirye, to your fulfilling your promise to 'pay it forward.'

Charles Waiswa

Luuka, Uganda

Charles's dream has been to fight disease and sickness within his community and broader Africa. He's pursuing a degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health.

His uncle was an economic lifeline for Charles but it appeared that his dreams were not going to come true when he passed. Fortunately KEF and Schoenwald Scholarship Fund have been able to bring him closer to his dream of improving the health and lives of many across Africa.

Keep chasing your dreams and inspiring others to do the same, Charles!
