David Swope Scholarship Fund

David Swope, a philanthropist, community leader, dear friend and benefactor our foundation for the past decade died in February, 2018. David answered President Kennedy's call and joined the Peace Corps, spending two and a half years in India. He subsequently founded a legal aid society in Bombay (Mumbai) and later served on the Board of Trustees of several nonprofit  and educational institutions in Westchester, NY.

David mentored Pradeep through the early years of the foundation and sponsored, anonymously, more than a dozen students in Africa and in India over the years. David's sound advice and cheerful personality will be sorely missed at the foundation.

A tax deduction certificate will be issued to each donor. The status and progress of the student recipient of the David Swope Scholarship Award will be posted and updated on this website.
